Australian Aviator’s Notable Solo Flight
BRISBANE TO ADELAIDE IN DAY. Received Thursday, 1.30 a.m. SYDNEY, Aug. 12. H. F. Broadbent, the prominent Australian aviator, accomplished a notable solo flight to-day, covering the distance between Brisbauo and Adelaide, via Sydney and Melbourne, in one day. The distance is about 1350 miles. He left Brisbane just after midnight and reachAdelaido about 6 p.m. Bad weather was experienced for most of the trip. He now plans to fly round Australia in seven days.
