Plane Makes Forced Landing
INCIDENT AT HAMILTON. Per Press Association. HAMILTON, Last Night. A private three-seater monoplane owned and piloted by Mr. S. Blackmore, of Hamilton, made a forced landing near Terapa aerouromo this evening. The pilot and passenger (W. McKenzie, of Te Awamutu) were returning from a flight over Hamilton. The engine stalled and the pilot couldn't reach the aerodrome owing to a high wind. He landed on a rough slope, the 'plane being stopped by a fence twenty feet from a house. The undercarriage was broken, but the occupants were unhurt.
