Repairs to Bulls Bridge
CONSIDERED URGENT Dissatisfaction was expressed at yesterday’s meeting of tho Manawatu County Council over the apparent delay on tho part of tho Rangitikei County Council to attend to the matter of repairs to the Bulls bridge. The bridge is controlled by the Rangitikei County Council, and in a letter to the Manawatu Council that body stated that the question of repairs would receive attention as far as possible. Cr. .T. H. Perrett considered it was high time that steps were taken to re pair a hole in tho bridge and the decking generally, which at present was dangerous to traffic. He felt that the Manawatu County was somewhat responsible for the continuance of the existing position, notwithstanding the fact that it had repeatedly represented the position to the Rangitikei County. . The situatioß called for immediate attention and he trusted that steps would be taken to have action taken by- the neighbouring county. It was agreed to request the Rangitikei County Council to take action.
