Compared with 1925, the 1931 Air Estimates of Great Britain decreased by 1 per cent. Those of America increased by JSO per cent., Franco 130 per cent., and Italy 40 per cent. .Increases over last year are I, 4, 11, and 5 per cent, respectively. It. is calculated by an authoritative Swedish statistical society that, including losses from revolution famine, and pestilence, the Great War deprived tho world of no fewer than 40,000,000 lives.
