America to Australia Via Ireland
SMITHY’S NAVIGATOR ON THE JOB. Received Monday, 9 p.m. NEW YORK, Aug. 10. Saul, Kiugsford. Smith’s navigator, arrived from England to-day and announced plans for a non-stop flight from New York to Ireland where tliey will refuel and proceed to Australia. He admitted that his plans at present were indefinite as ho wishes first to confer with two other fliers whom he expects will accompany him on tho flight which he hopes will start before October. Saul declined to give tho names of his co-fliers or backers.
