Manslaughter Charge Withdrawn
ACCUSED PLEADS GUILTY TO LESSER CHARGE. Per Press Association. WANGANUI, Aug. 10. Norm on Tinney, of Patea, pleaded guilty in the Supremo Court to recklessly driving a motor car and causing the death of S. C. Humphrey, cn May 16th, and also to negligently driving and causing death. The Crown offered no evideuc i tho manslaughter charge witli which Tinney was first charged. He will be sentenced on Wednesday morning.
