Sea-Bathing Lake for Scotland
PRESTWICK (Scotland), July 8. A great sea-bathing lake, 100 yards bv 40, was recently opened here by William Adamson, Secretary of State tor Scotland, as the final section in a development scheme, which has been completed here. The funds for the construction work were provided jointly by the Unemployment Grants Committee and the Town Council. Mr. Adamson stated that tho building of the lake and other work carried through had provided employment for an average of 80 men over a period of 15 months, which was no small contribution to the relief of unemployment in the community.
