BRITAIN, FRANCE. ITALY OVER TRIANGULAR COURSE DATE, TIME AND PLACE British Oilicial Wireless RUGBY, Aug. S. The Royal Aero Club announces that .after consultation with tho Air Ministry and the Admiralty, it has been decided that the Schneider Trophy race between Britain, France, and Italy shall take place, weather permitting, on 12th September, over one triangular course, over the Solent and Spithead, of 50 kilometres or 31.07 miles,, to be flown anti-clock-wise seven times. In 1929 the course was quadrilaterial but tho club has decided on a new course after most careful consideration of all tho factors, including tho increasing speed of racing aircraft. The contest will begin at 12.30 p.m., and by arrangement with the Harbour Board the Port of Southampton will be closed from then till 4 p.m,

Congratulations MOLLISON’S FEAT MESSAGE FROM THE KING British Official Wireless. RUGBY, Aug. 7. Tho King has sent a congratulatory telegram to Mr. A. J. Mollison, who is resting in London to.day after' tho completion of his remarkable record, breaking flight from Australia in a do Haviland Gypsy Moth. During his 8 days 22 hours’ flight, the airman encountered very adverse weather, and allowed himself in all only 10 hours’ sleep. Hundreds of other messages arrived to-day, including one on behalf of tho Air Council from Lord Amulree, Secretary for Air, and telegrams from the Governor of New South Wales and Lord Wakefield, who financed tho attempt.

A messago from Point Barrow, Alaska, states Col. and Mrs. Lindberg, who are to fly tho Pacific, arrived at 2 a.m. Pacific standard time on Saturday.
