On Saturday night, an uncle of .he pretender Giba was found assassinated. Giba and 700 followers attacked the kraal of the regent, who waited till dawn on Sunday, then routed Giba and chased him 12 miles. The fiery cross blazed from hilltop to hilltop. Women and children took refuge in the mountains. Europeans were not disturbed. Aeroplanes enabled a mobile squadron to master the situation. Thirteen bodies have been found.
