Miss May Beatty, who suffered a minor injury to one of her feet about 18 montlisrago, has lately been to hospital for an operation, and when the last mail left Los Angeles sho was making a good-recovery. She has been able to take only small parts of late, but is now hoping to get back into regular work. She played in “East Lynne,” “Ex Flame,’’“Chances,” and other talkies. Her daughter Bunny has been winning high praise for her work. Her last parts were in “Dracula” and “Outward Bound.”
