Fine and Frosty Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. An anti-cyclone now covers New Zealand and Eastern Tasman Idea. The pressure is falling over southeastern Australia. Winds: Moderate southerly decreasing and later veering to westerly and northerly in and south of Cook Strait. Seas (New Zealand waters): A considerable swell south of East Cape but soon moderating; elsewhere smooth to moderate. Eastern TasSnan Sea: Variable winds tending northerly and later freshening. Weather: Fair to fine almost generally, but still some scattered showers on the cast coast of tho North Island. 1
Cold night temperatures with many frosts, but milder to-morrow.
