Warwick's Disastrous Start

The New Zealanders started well against Warwickshire on an easy wicket in dull weather. Cromb, Allcott and Dempster are resting. The Warwickshire team is:— Wyatt (captafti), Kemp-Welsh, Croom, Bates, Parsons, Kiiner, Partridge, Smart, Foster, Mayer, Paine. Lowry lost the toss. Warwickshire made a disastrous start before the bowling of Matheson and Talbot. Kemp-Welsh was caught in the slips off the third over. Croom played on an inswinger and Wyatt was dismissed with a brilliant catch by James on the leg side. Three wickets were down for 15 when Parsons and Bates stopped the debacle for a time.
