German Banks Resume Trading
DEPOSITS EXCEED WITHDRAWALS
United Press Association. —By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. Received Wednesday, 10.0 p.m. BERLIN, Aug. 5. Although the restrictious will not be removed until to-morrow, many banks ■resumed operations to-day. The amounts paid in exceeded the withdrawals. Dr. Bruening, broadcasting to-night, indicated that the banks would be brought under tho control of the Government. He declared that tho emergency measures had nothing to do with inflation. Depositors need not be afraid they would lose their hard-earned savings.
