Amateur Cycling
A further raco was staged by the local amateurs yesterday under ideal weather conditions for the “Horidio” cycle and Boucher trophy. Seven riders faced the starter and a well-contested raco resulted. Jones, off 11 minutes, had a lone ride and was only caught by Jensen and Tantrum in tho latter stages, but Hayes off smins., just managed to overtake them and beat Jensen for the honour by a small margin.
