Sacred Concert
On Sunday night, at tho Opera House, a very fine and varied programme of instrumental and vocal music will be presented. Miss Dorothy Southey-Baker has very kindly consented to play a violin solo, and is also bringing a party of instrumental artists who will present several short 'concerted numbers which everybody w r ill be able to understand and enjoy. In the vocal section, by students from Mr. J. Garde Grimshaw’s studio, will bo heard some beautiful harmonised numbers, and several singers will appear who are new to Palmerston North audiences. Numbers have been carefully chosen to suit all tastes. The accompaniments will be in the very capablo hands of Mrs. Gilmour. The full programme will bo published in Saturday’s Times. The total net proceeds are in aid of the Central Relief Committee’s funds.
