RUSSIAN PROGRAMME INCLUDES CONSCRIPTED PEASANT LABOUR.

Russia’s lack even of good arterial roads, whereby farm cartage is seriously handicapped, has led to a decree ordering all peasants, male and female, between the ages of 18 and> 45, to give six days a year to road construction, on which £100,000,000 is being spent.
