Tlio Foildiug Golf Club -will decide its postponed July medal match, ou Saturday to enablo a start being made with tho championship rounds. Members aro reminded that this match is tho last qualifying round. Judgment was entered, by default, against Fred Allorly in favour of Dalgely and Co. at tho Feilding Magistrate’s Court on. Tuesday and not against Frank Allcrby as inadvertently stated in our report of the proceedings. The proceeds of the Junior Reform Leaguo dance in aid of the Feilding Relief of Distress fund amounted to £2O 15s Bd, which sum has been handed over to the committee.
At a special meeting of tho Feilding Fire Board yesterday tho chairman, Mr. A. H, Sutton, referred to the passing of Mr. E. H. Fisher, who was for many years chairman of the board, and moved a resolution of sympathy with Mrs. Fisher and her family in their loss. Tho motion was supported by Mr. VV. A. Barton and carried in silence.
