Story of Prince of Wales
A story of the Prince of Wales, which recently went the rounds in London, was about a curious incident that occuircu on the occasion of his last visit to Paris. Ho was sitting one night in a club with friends when there was a sudden disturbance.
An apoplectic head waiter appeared, excitably informing his guests that his waiters had taken advantage of the presence of the Prince to demand a i>o per cent, increase above their normal wage. Distraught, ho asked for volunteers to help serve the Prince. A score of people immediately rose from the tables to be warmly welcomed by the relieved head waiter. Among them quietly unobtrusive, was the Princo himself!
