Wet, Squally and Very Cold Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. The pressure is still very low to the eastward, but an intense anti-cyclone is advancing over the Tasman Sea. Winds: Westerly at lirst about Cook Strait and on parts of the East Coast but otherwise south-westerly strong generally and of gale force at many places. Seas (New Zealand waters): rtcavy on West Coast and in Eovcaux Strait, elsewhere rough. Eastern Tasman Sea: Strong southwest winds to gales with rough to heavy seas. Weather: Squally and changeable with showers in most districts, but more especially in the western and southern; snow on the ranges and liail m places. Cold temperatures with many frosts.
