Caraval Boy made tho early running and led to the straight from Anchor, Camclla, Lady Oclaro and Prince Vcrderer. The latter hit the front passing the Leger and won with ease by four lengths, lime, 1.14. EASTER STAKES. BUR WOOD, 7.6 (Percival) 1 JOHNNIE JASON, 7.13 (Cracknel!) 2 GOLDEN GATE, 7.7 (Pratt) .. ..3 Fourteen stalled. Bold Bid showed the way to the straight from Gloriole, Johnnie Jason and Burwood. Ego and Lighten fell. Reviser was the pacemaker from Kinross, Burrafomi and Namera. Reviser led to the final obstacle by ten lengths, but Burraform came with a late run and gained the verdict by a length. Time, 4.24®. SYDNEY CUP.

THE DIMMER, 7.12 (Bartle) .. .. 1 ALCMAN, 7.3 (Percival) 2 DONALD, 8.12 (Davidson) .. .. ..3 Eleven started. Balloon King ran to the front from Troilus, Inducement, Aleman and First Acre, the field-run-ning in that order to the top of the straight, where The Dimmer, which had moved up smartly round the field, joined issue with Balloon King from First Acre, Inducement, Troilus and Aleman. The Dimmer maintained his run and won casing up by three lengths. Time, 3.543WENTWORTH HANDICAP.

BONNIE VALERIE, 8.4 (Cook) .. 1 LIGHTNING MARCH, 8.3 (Horncry) 2 ALLEVIATE, 7.7 (Weiss) 3 Nineteen started. Marinade was the pacemaker from Hunt the Slipper, Bassanton, Top Speed and Caliua.
