Neither Sight nor Hearing
There are in London about 150 people who can neither hear nor see. Some of these are dumb also. There are more than 4000 people who are deal' and dumb, the largest aggregation in the world. These facts are given in the 88th annual report of the Royal Association in Aid of the Deaf and Dumb. The afflictions of tho blind-deaf, it is pointed out, are not easily realised. They are cut off from music, ordinaryconversation, and the sight of everything. They cannot master Braille, and therefore are unablo cither to reaa or write.
