Mrs. Harry Cowpcr, of Dannevirkc, is a visitor to Wanganui. Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Silk, Wanganui, arc visiting Palmerston North, Mrs. and Miss Fox-Rogcrs, Into of Hastings, have taken up their residence in Auckland. Mr. and Mrs. 11. Gordon Gibbs, of Palmerston North, return to-day after a motor trip to Taupe. Mrs, Coles returns to Palmerston North to-day after a visit to her daughter in Gonvillc, Wanganui. Mrs. J. Morgan, Christchurch was the guest of Mrs. Reginald Davis. Palmerston North, for Easter. The death occurred in Palmerston North early on Sunday morning of Mrs. Elizabeth Jennings at the ago of 70 years. Born in Motucka, tho deceased lady later resided at Ashhurst and in the Table Flat district, being one of the early pioneers there. After many years she proceeded to Nelson, but came to Palmerston North some twelve years ago, and has since resided at this centre. The late Mrs Jennings is survived by her husband Mr. Frederic Jennings, and a grownup family. The daughters are Mesdnmes G. F. Framjec (Manapouri Crescent, Palmerston North), W. G. Chmmings (Waimatenui, North Auckland), W. Taylor (Waitaanga, Main Trunk), C. Loveridge (Palmerston and W. Richardson (Palmerston North), The sons are Messrs P. Jennings (Opotiki), E. Jennings (Whakarongo), and A. Jennings (Waitaanga.)
