TENNIS On Wednesday afternoon the Linton Tennis Club’s team visited Bunnythorpe to play a return friendly match against the local club. The home team was -successful in winning the match on the score of games by 09 to 60, the sets being eight all. Following are the detained scores, Linton players being mentioned first: — Men’s singles: Pringle beat Patience 6—3; White beat Robson 6—o; Beckett lost to Williamson 3—6; Pentecost beat Gore 6 —3.
