Randolph Rose Again Beaten
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. Competing in the evening meeting to-night R. A. Rose, the Australian and New Zealand champion, was beaten in the mile event by Gordon Bayne, of Petone who also started oil scratch. The high wind was against exceptional times being put up, but Rose did not appear to bo in liis best form.
