Bullet proof glass invented in Britain has been purchased by a French syndicate which will produce it on a large scale. It is made by the Acctcx-John-son process consisting of two thin sheets with a product of acetone pressed between. Tests showed that the glass was stronger than any existing French product. Rifle and revolver bullets failed to more than flake a small amount near the surface. The Ministry of War is interested and may use the glass in loopholes, gunshields and tank windows.
