Desperate Burglars
MAN AND WIFE INTIMIDATED THREE SUSPECTS ARRESTED Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Feb. 2. Early on the morning of Sunday, January 25, three masked men entered the home of Sydney Taylor, 14 Wellington street, and, after consuming food in t.io kitchen, entered Taylor’s bedroom, where he anti his wife were asleep. One man stood over each of them, armed with a stick, while the third searcher the room for money. Taylor awoke, and was then struck with the butt of a stockwhip. , , After stealing 10/- and more food the trio escaped. Three suspects avc cc arrested and arc to appear shortly as the Court.
