For Kindness to Animals
UNUSUAL AND BEAUTIFUL SCHOOL AWARDS.

Two prizes of a. rather unusual but very beautiful nature were presented at the annual prizegiving of the Richmond School last evening. When the Minister of Education, Hon. H. Atmore, who was presenting prizes came to them he called for three hearty cheers for the reipients. It was explained that two of the children, Margery McNabb and Olga Gomez, found an injured dog which had been run over and they nursed it back to health and strength. The special award was accordingly for kindness.
