Mrs. J. S. Clarke, of Wellington, was a visitor to Shortacre, Ormondville, for the week-end.
A football match, Exiles v. Norsewood, was played on the Makotuku ground on Saturday, Norsewood winning 7—3. H. Dean, A. Port and G. Port put in excellent work for Exiles. The weather for the past week has been all that could be desired. The grass is coming away in leaps and bounds and the pastures look beautifully <rreen.
