MISS COTTLE WINS INTERNATIONAL MOTOR CYCLE TEST. FINISHES ALPINE COURSE BY LIGHT OF POCKET-TORCH. United Press Association. —By Electri* Telegraph.—Copyright. LONDON, Aug. 3. A Grenoble message states that, dashing daringly through Alpino tunnels ,and holding a pockct-torch in her teeth, having lost tho headlight in a collision with a runaway motor car careering backward down a mountain pass, Miss Marjorie Cottle completed the international motor cycle test, not losing a mark, and won the highest award, the gold medal. An Italian trio of men, riding inag-n-jficntly, completed over 1000 miles on Alpine reads in the scheduled time and won the international trophy. Britain, France and Belgium each lost a member of its team.
