Fine and Milder An anti-cyclonc still covers New Zealand . A cyclone has developed west of Norfolk Island and a rather deep depression is covering south-east-ern Australia. Winds moderate southerly to southeasterly ■ north of Westport and Kaikoura, backing to east and north-east and freshening in tho Far North; elsewhere moderate but freshening northerly. Seas (New Zealand waters): Still a considerable swell between Kailcoura and East Cape; elsewhere smooth ts. moderate. Tasman Sea: Moderate but freshening north-east to north winds in the eastern Tasman Sea with moderate but rising seas. Weather mainly fair to line but stilt some scattered misty showers on the cast coast north' of Cook Strait and later in the Far North and in Fovcaux Strait. Temperatures milder.
