In the past three years, it is estimated the Wairoa (H. 8.) Dairy Factory Company has paid out £115,000 to its suppliers, and the total pay-out for the current season is expected, to reach £60,000. The company seems well set on the way to great prosperity.
Beef values in Poverty Bay are now at till© highest rates for many years, and some good sales have been made. Poverty Bay lamb had been selling well on the London market, the first consignment having brought Hid, to llid per lb., while later shipments brought lOd to llid.
