Dalgety and Co. Ltd. report on the sales of the week as under: There was a small yarding of stock at their Marton sale on Tuesday', llth instant. Weaner pigs, 12s, 13s; store pigs, 255; light porkers, oOs; weaner Jersey heifers, £3 Is 6d; empty heifers, £4 2s 6d; empty cows, £4 15s; bulls, £3 10s.

There was a particularly good yarding of both sheep and cattle at their Mangaweka sale on Thursday, 13th instant. There was a fairly good demand right throughout at a shado lower ligures than those previously ruling and practically a total clearance was effected. There was a good yarding of sheep at the Peilding sale on Friday, 14th instant. While prices were inclined to be easier except for the better class particularly a total clearance was effected. There was also a fair yarding of cattle at prices on a par with previous sales.
