Kirkwood Shines in Four-ball Match

Hagen and Kirkwood, in a four-ball match at the Royal Melbourne links, defeated Reg. Jupp, the professional champion of Victoria and Arthur Lefevrc, the Royal Melbourne professional, three and one. Hagen was not quite up to form, but Kirkwood played excellent golf.
