Agreement is in Sight
LONDON PRESS ANXIOUS FOR FINALITY. TARDIEU SAYS NOTHING. Received Sunday, Midnight. ’ LONDON, March 16. Tho Sunday newspapers agree that the three-Power agreement between Britain, America and Japan is in sight. Several advocate its conclusion, leaving France and Italy to go their own way in preference to including them within its terms and forcing an increase instead of a reduction of the three-Power programmes. M. Tardieu has arrived but refused to divulge whether the proposal will make any change in the French attitude.
