Rifle Shooting
F. W. COX CONTINUES TO KEEP HIS EYE IN. The Linton Rifle Club fired another stage of tho championship series on Wednesday and Saturday last, weather conditions for rifle shooting again being anything but pleasant, the Wednesday section having a choppy wind to contend with and tho Saturday section getting the rain. However, conditions were not bad enough to affect some of the members’ ability, B. G. Salmons getting a possible at 800 yards and R. W. Ramsay missing the bull with only one shot at the same range. F. W. Cox, who has been shooting with exceptional brilliance all the season, again topped tho score. After registering a 42 at 800 yards he put on the good score of 47 at 900.
