Congratulations for Cawthron Institute
SUCCESS OF SOIL EXPERIMENTS. Per Press Association. NELSON, Last Night. At a meeting of the trustees of the Cawthron Institute of Scientific Research, a letter of congratulation oh the success of the Pakihi investigation carried out by the institute was read by tho director (Professor Easterfield) from the Buller County Council. Tho letter stated: “The council at its last meeting resolved to heartily congratulate the Cawthron Institute and staff on the great success that have attended your efforts on the Pahiki soil between Sergeants Hill and Fairdown. The council was particularly pleased with the results that have begn demonstrated and will grant every assistance within its means for a continuation of your good work.”
