Middleweight Title Fight in Palmerston
ON FEBRUARY 21 HAY AND' MCDONALD SCHEDULED TO MEET At a meeting of the Manawatu Boxing Association held last night, it was announced that Artie Hay, of Hastings, holder of the New Zealand professional middleweight title, would defend a challengo from Lachie McDonald, of Auckland, in Palmerston North on February 21. The. purse, will be £125, with expenses. It was announced that a profit of £3O had been made on the LeckieCrowle fight on Boxing night. Mr. Earle Wimsett presided over the meeting and there were also present Messrs. M. O’Brien, B. McGrath, D. H. Armstrong, E. Scott, R. L. C. Aitchison, E. A. Hamilton, H. Essex, J. Purvcs, G. Watchorn, V. Goldfinch an ll J. P. Evans (secretary).
