From Our Own Correspondent. Misses M. Liggins, R. and N. Davis, D . Gray and J. Bower returned on Saturday from Porewa, Marton, where they attended a Girl Guide camp. The many friends of Mr. Len Gus will regret to hear that he is an. inmate of the Palmerston North hospual, where lie is to undergo an operation. Mr H Blaxland has returned from his annual vacation, which he spent in Wellington. Misses S. Nickless and Pattle. of the Kopane school teaching staff, an Misses Harvey and Le Coutier, of Eongotea school, have returned from their annual holidays. Miss Marjorie McGee, of Foxton, is at present visiting her sister, Mrs. J. C. Lyon. . Miss M. Eeddell, of Wellington, has been visiting her uncle, Mr. E. Arnott. .. , Mr. A. M. Yarrall, of Waitoa, has been visiting his brother, Mr. L. H. Yarrall.
