Situated in the lovely fruitgrowing district of the Cornish valley of the Tamar, Landulph is said to be the shyest village in England. This young folk there are so nervous of one another that there has been but ane marriage at the ancient parish church within the past five years. According to the rector, the Rev. I. S. Jcnkin, the young men think more about playing cricket than they do courting. Mr. F Snell, a churchwarden, is optimistic enough to believe that romance will return to the village in due course.
