IMPROVED TRAIN SERVICES!
It is pleasing to learn that the trail-, fic to Waitomo Caves and Tongamo National Park has reached such proportions as to justify the Railway Department in making’ special arrangements to meet the convenience of passengers to those resorts. In the new timetable, which comes into operation on December 8, provision is made for the 7.52 a.m. Wellington-Auckland and tho 7.53 aim. Auckland-Wellington "daylight limited" expresses to stop at Hangatiki station (for Waitomo Caves) and at National Park, station (for "Chateau^ Tpngariro"). The "‘night limited leaving Wellington at, 7.15 p.m. and Auckland at 7.10 p.m. on Sundays will also stop at National Park on Monday mornings. These additional trains will provide a very satisfactory service for both resorts and should result in a still greater influx of visitors.
