A report from Detroit states that foliowing Mr. Hemy Pord’s statement to AVashington, his son Edsel has announced that his company will spend 20,000,000 dollars yearly to raise the wages of its workers, to become effective from December 1. The minimum scale is now increased from six to seven dollars a day.
