Cabaret De Luxe

BRIGHT FUNCTION It was a happy thought on the part of Mrs. Borlaso to hold a cabaret in Palmerston North last evening. .Visitors were present from most of the surrounding districts and the town itself.

Beautiful frocking made a distinctive note, the bright colours of georgettes, satins and taffetas of the dancers helping to make a proper carnival spirit. The Empire hall was dressed in most unusual decorations. Scarlet, primrose and blue were used for the tables and walls, whilst the many electric light shades wore resplendent- with their giant globes of rose and daffodil.
