In Divorce
In the Palmerston North Supreme Court yesterday, Mabel E. Nordbya, of Norsewood (Mr. Cooper) petitioned for divorce from Louis Nordbye from whom she had been separated for more than three years. In evidence, petitioner stated that she was married on September 4, 1918 and went to Norsewood to live until an agreement to separate in May, 1924 was entered into. There were three children of the union and she had not cohabited with respondent since the separation. Wm. Alfred Thompson, of Norsewood, father of petitioner, recalled the date of the separation and informed hie Honour that petitioner had lived apart from her husband since. A decree nisi with interim custody of the children was granted.
