INSTALLMENTS on MOTOR CYCLE OWING
PURCHASER SUED,
In the Palmerston North Magistrate’s Court yesterday morning before Mr. J. L. Stout, S.M., George Jervis Kells of Palmerston North, solicitor, as assignee of Bruce and Bai Motors Ltd., proceeded against Neil C. McPherson a sharemilker of Apiti for the sum ot £55/8/10 as the arrears of instalment on a motor cycle purchased by defendant from Bruce and Bai Ltd. Mr Onfflcy lappearcd ior piaintuc and Mr. Power, Feilding, for defendRl *After hearing evidence tho Magistrate decided that defendant was bound by a bailment that he had given plaintiff company. Defendant s evidence was unsatisfactory and conflicted with the correspondence that was out in. Judgment was given for plaintiff for the amount claimed with court costs £2/15/- and solicitor’s fee £4/3/-.
