ACTING IN A VERY STRANGE MANNER
LABOURER REMANDED. A labourer named Simon Brophy appeared in tiie Palmerston North Magistrate's Court yesterday morning, charged with being an idle and disorderly person. "This man has been in Palmerston North only two days, but has been acting in a very strange manner,” said Senior Sergeant Whitehouse in applying for a remand until Wednesday to enable Brophy to be kept under observation.
