MAKINO SCHOOL DANCE
HELD IN FEILDING. The Makino road school children’s fancy dress dance was held in the Oddfellows’ hall, Foilding on Friday evening, when in spite of unfavourable weather, there was a splendid attendance of both children and adults. The children had tho floor for the early part of tho evening, and made merry at dancing and games, which they thoroughly enjoyed. A speciality dancing act, staged by Miss Doris Shapleski, was much appreciated. Supper for tho children was provided by a ladies’ committee. Music was provided by Bramwell’s orchestra and the school committee desires to thank all who contributed to the success of the gathering. The adults had the floor from 10 o’clock.
