PRIMARY SCHOOLS MATCH
A match was played at the Terrace End school grounds on Saturday morning between Rangitdkei primary school representatives and the Terrace End team, which won the Palmerston North primary school competition this season. The teams lined out as follow: Rangitikei.—M. Davies (Bulls), N. Poppe (Marten Jn.), D. Field (Marion D.H.S.), N. McLean (Mart on D.H.o.J, X. Fraser (Mt. View), C. Karaitau (Turakina), M. Kearney (Bulls), C. Stafford (Tutaenui), C. Brennan (Turakina). , Terrace End.—Betty Pierard, Betty Townloy, Doris Larsen, Edith Mason, Mabel Kaye, Ina Kirkpatrick, Nancy Wood (captain), Helen Clinton, Nola Perrin. The match was played on a very wet ground. The visitors with accurate throwing, took the lead, the half time score being 5—3. The second half was even, both sides scoring 3 points and tthe game finished B—68 —6 in favour of Rangitikei. Miss Matheson refereed.
