Amelia Earhart, the first woman tians-Atlantie air passenger, has been appointed assistant general traffic manager of the Transcontinental Air Transport, Inc., (says a New York message). Mr T. B. Clement, general manager of the corporation, in announcing the appointment, said she would give advice concerning luxuries, refreshments and comforts which women demand on aeroplanes.
