FROM THE HUB
Dear Cogs, Once again. I bid you ft very good morning. I have had some wonderful letters this week from Cogs. Elaine Bailey, has written an original story, and I know you will all .think she is a wonderfully clever little girl. She is only 13 too. Yes, Joseph,, it will be a year this month, since our Cog page was started. In fact the sth of August brought the first Cog, who was little Marjorie Meads of Shannon. How are you, Marjorie? Yes, I remember that wc promised a prize or a present for the Cog who had won the most prizes, during the year. I shall have to look that up. So will let you know next week, who is the hard working clever one. I hope you will soon have enough money to buy a football, Keith. Your prize money would help. Yes,' Rita, 1 shall send your prize money as soon as I get it. I do hope yon have a nice sunny day for your birthday party, J oyee. The “Father Sparrow’s Tug-o’-War story will be published to-day. I think it was crowded out last week. What fun it must be making your scrap books! Augusta Bockett has ■sent in a beautiful one, but she is making several, not for competition purposes, but just to be donated. They are a credit to you Augusta. You are ever so neat and clean in your work. Holidays soon! Yon will all welcome a little change won’t you. The Hore children, sent in a bundle of comics to be sent to the children’s ward at the hospital. They were duly sent, children, and much appreciated. You were sweet to think of them. What has happened to my little “Gipsy,” I miss your nice little notes, darling. Flo Eoore, and Elaine Bailey, are two new Cogs this week, welcome to them. I would love to hear all about your school reports as soon as you get them. Good-bye dears, let me hear from you all agaiu soon. THE HUB.
