BANK OF ENGLAND NOT SEEKING CREDITS
NEW YORK CANARD DENIED. Australian Press Association. Received Friday, 11 p.m. LONDON, Aug. 15. The Bank of England has issued an express denial of a statement emanating from New York that it has arranged a credit of £50,000,000 there.
